We’re looking for a few brave volunteers who’ll help beta test Zombies, Run! so we can uncover bugs and unexpected behaviour. You’ll get a chance to see upcoming features before they’re released, but beware! You may encounter crashes and even data loss.

Runner Five. Season Five. It’s no coincidence that this is the most thrilling, most unexpected and brilliant season of Zombies, Run! to date. There are shocks, struggles and surprises galore awaiting you this season. Are you ready? No. Whatever you think, you are not ready for this. But here it is anyway.
You can download missions one and two of Season Five right now from the ‘Missions’ tab in your Zombies, Run! app, even without needing to upgrade. If you’re a pro member, you can download and play both missions immediately. Otherwise, you can use your free weekly unlock to play either of these missions.
So lace up your shoes, eat five curly-wurlies, construct a protective shield out of sports bras, and get out there. Abel needs you, Runner Five.
There’s just seven days until Season Five launches! Just one week until there’s excitement, drama, thrills, adrenaline, and of course, thrills galore…
Like last year, we’ll be releasing two episodes per week, with a hiatus during late June and July, before resuming the story in August. The good news is that we have a very special, very secret treat that’ll tide you over during that hiatus. More soon 😉
Hey ZR Fam! So, as we all know, Season Five is just around the corner, and I don’t know about you, but I’m super excited. Thing is, there are people in the fandom who aren’t fully caught up all the way. So I figured this would be the perfect time for me to re-paint my spoilers detected header I did a few years ago!

We are a fandom that prides itself on it’s organization and extensive tagging and spoiler warning system. I seriously encourage all of you to use this image, spoiler warnings, readmores, and whatever else you may like to help prevent spoilers from spreading. That’s right, in under two weeks, we’ll be launching Season Five and continuing the epic story of Zombies, Run! We’re not going to reveal any spoilers – but here’s a sneak peek at the Season 5 Mission 1′s artwork, courtesy of Kascha Sweeney. What could it mean?!?!
Naomi Alderman, co-creator and lead writer, has plenty in store for you:
I’m so thrilled that we’re releasing Season Five of Zombies, Run! this year – we never would have thought when we started that we’d get to have a fifth season! Season Five is ringing the changes: with Abel in danger, the country at risk and enemies massing on every side. Runner Five will be travelling further than ever before in search of help, answers and of course precious sports bras.
You’ll have to make new allies – and win round old enemies. You’ll discover more secrets – and learn the truth about some people you might have thought you knew. You’ll encounter zombies stranger than any you’ve seen before.
And through it all, Runner Five, you’ll have to run!
Naturally, we’ll be releasing a 5.0 update for iPhone and Android – but this year, Season 5′s release won’t depend on that update due to improvements in how ZombieLink communicates with the apps.

The Spring 2016 Virtual Race is happening right now, with almost 1500 entries already recorded on the official leaderboard! Thanks to all who have finished the race so far, and good luck to everyone taking part! Remember, you can run the race as many times as you wish during the race period (30 March – 11 April), so you can keep improving those times!
We’ve also set up a brand new tracker of the average results by country – Austria is currently leading the pack with an average time of 21 Minutes and 55 Seconds. You can see where your country ranks on the leaderboard.
