S6 M19 & M20 Released + Mid-Season Hiatus

A heist, danger, revelations and even some zombies – it’s just another week of Zombies, Run! missions with Catch Us If You Can and Peacekeeper.

We’re now going on hiatus just to keep you waiting for the second half of Season 6. No, we’re really going on hiatus to prepare more incredible twists and turns for you! We’ll be back soon…

If you’re a Pro Member, you can download and play both missions immediately. Otherwise, you can use your free weekly unlock to get either one.

The heat is on! Your two new missions are out this week: Pressure Cookin’ and 99 Red Balloons.

5k Training Launches in July!

We’ve already teased you with some sneak peeks, but it’s time to come clean. The huge new update for our 5k Training app is launching in late July. That’s enough time to ready yourself for training with Maxine, Sam & the gang!

This update comes with a ton of shiny new features, including:

  • External Music Player support, so you can listen to Spotify, Pandora or Google Play Music while you train.
  • Sophisticated tracking methods to match Zombies, Run!, such as Constant Pace, mapped GPS and more reliable Step Counter.
  • No more fiddling with Classic – all 5k Training data will synchronise directly with the main ZombieLink website!
  • Show off post-run selfies with new sharing screens!
  • See how far you’ve come without checking the website, with the Progress Report.

And more…but you’ll have to wait until July to experience them all!

This update will be released for both iPhone and Android. If you previously bought 5k Training, you won’t have to purchase it again – this is a free update. 

We’ll be posting an announcement the day it launches so you don’t miss out on training with us!

S6 M15 & M16 Released

It might be six seasons in, but you’ll always be wondering if you’re doing the right thing. Two new missions this week: What Have I Done To Deserve This? and Poison.

Six to Start News

  • Our crowd investment campaign is still in full swing! We’ve hit 60% funded, so head over if you’re interested and located anywhere in the world, except Japan & Canada.
  • Speaking of which, we can now accept investments from US accredited investors! We know a lot of you are located in little old America, so we’ve worked hard to open this up to you.
  • Racelink has joined forces with Stand Up for Cancer so you can race against Mel C, Bill Bailey, Ore Oduba and Edith Bowman in Celeb Chase Virtual Race!
  • Season 6 will be taking its scheduled hiatus after episode 20, before returning later in the summer. You’ve been warned – eke out your episodes accordingly. Or you know, binge them all and then wait eagerly for the conclusion.

Fanfiction

The Lost Papers of Abel Township is an undeniably cool project. It’s a unique take on fanfiction, crafted around “found” documents from Runner Five, including diary entries. I can’t wait see what else they come up with!

Prom by erbinnerdgirl5 is an adorable fanfic where – you guessed it! – Abel holds its first ever prom. This is a lot of fun to read amidst the darkness of Season 6!

But to return us to that same dark, Digna Factis Recipimus by bbelladonna is a fantastic exploration of the kind of nightmares Five might have after all they’ve seen. Be warned – the current chapter has spoilers up to Season 3, and bbelladonna plans to continue through all the seasons in this style.
